Wowzers! I had an awesome time at the Willow House Design Convention in Atlanta. I met so many fabulous, talented women and brought home a suitcase full of new ideas for the fall!

Impromptu Birthday Celebration


It's been a crazy week, but we really wanted to celebrate my mom's birthday when she visited today. My WH gear saved the day, yet again! Love the Gramercy Ribbon Plate for writing messages. Happy Birthday, Yia Yia!


My mama brought me these gorgeous sunflowers. The couldn't be more beautiful or gigantic!

I perched these "not-at-all-homemade" cupcakes in the top tier of my 3-tiered stand and tucked an Annabelle Iron Votive inside. Not a full-out birthday cake, but cute and tasty.

Strawberry Delight



My mom tried this at a party and she said it was awesome!  I need to try this one VERY soon ; )

STRAWBERRY DELIGHT  
3/4 C. SUGAR (I USE A BOUT 1/2+) 
1/2 c. WHIPPING CREAM 
1/4 C. LIGHT CORN SYRUP 
2 T. BUTTER 
1/2 C, CHOPPED HEATH BARS (2) 1.4 OZ BAR OR EQUIV.) 
2 PINTS FRESH STRAWBERRIES 
1/2 PINT SOUR CR.  

IN SAUCEPAN, COMBINE SUGAR, WHIPPPING CREAM, CORN SYRUP, AND BUTTER.  
BRING TO BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT.  
BOIL FOR 1 MIN., STIRRING OFTEN.  
MIX IN CHOPPED CANDY-COOL MIXTURE.   
CLEAN & SLICE STRAWBERRIES.  
TO SERVE;PLACE STRAWBERRIES IN DISH, ADD COOLED SAUCE.  
TOP WITH DOLLOP OF SOUR CREAM.  
ENJOY!
